How Come

By Air There are no fight to SATUN, the nearest airport is Hat Yai. Hat Yai International Airport far from Hat Yai district about 11 km.For other international, you can contact the airline directly such as AirAsia, Thai Vietjet, Lion Air, Nok Air, Thai Airways

You must take first flight from Bangkok and arrive at Hatyai before 9.00 am.

There is no direct train to SATUN. Visitors can take a Bangkok-Hat Yai train, leaving the Bangkok Railway station(Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal). Getting off at the Hat Yai train station, visitors can take a taxi from Hatyai Bus Terminal 2 (Talat Kaset) to Pakbara Pier (La-ngu District) .Vans and public buses are also available. Traveling from Bangkok to Satun (Pak Bara Pier)

Air-conditioned coaches depart daily from the Bangkok Bus Terminal (Southern/Sai Tai Mai). The journey takes approximately 13 to 14 hours. Important Travel Options & Time Constraints:

• Option 1: Bangkok – Satun Route
  If you choose this route, you must get off the bus at La-ngu District. From there, you will need to take a local Songthaew (shared passenger truck) to Pak Bara Pier.
  • Constraint: Your bus must arrive in La-ngu no later than 9:00 AM to catch the Speed boat to the islands.
• Option 2: Bangkok – Hat Yai Route (Highly Recommended)
  This is the most convenient option. You can book a direct coach from Bangkok to Hat Yai, where you can either pre-arrange a private van transfer to pick you up or easily find a public van to Pak Bara Pier at the Hat Yai Bus Terminal 2 (Talat Kaset).
  • Constraint: Your bus must arrive in Hat Yai no later than 8:00 AM to ensure you have enough time to travel to the pier and catch the Speed boat.

From Bangkok,take highway 41 to Phatthalung, then highway 4 to Rattaphum, then highway 406 to SATUN, It's 973 km. from Bangkok.

By Speed Boat

• Take time about 1.30 hrs and service daily from Pakbara pier to Koh Lipe . Speed boat leave from Pakbara pier at 11.30 am (and 13.30 pm on high season) . For return back to Pakbara pier at 9.30 am (and 11.30 am, 13.30 pm. on high season)

By Ferry

• Take time about 1.45 hrs and service on high season . Ferry leave from Kauh Jetty at 10.00 am and 2.00 pm (Malaysia time) . For return back to Langkawi (Kauh Jetty) at 11.00 am and 3.00 pm (Thailand time)

This route you can travel by boat Speed Boat . The route will travel from Koh Lanta ( Pier ) - Koh Ngai - Koh Mook - Koh Kradan - Koh Bulone - Koh Lipe.

By Speed Boat

• Take time about 4.00 hrs and service only high season. Speed boat leave from Koh Lanta (Saladard pier) at 10.00 am . For return back to Koh Lanta (Saladard pier) at 9.00 am.

This route you can travel by Speed Boat. The route will travel from Phuket (Ratsada Pier ) - Koh Phi Phi - Koh Lanta and you can change the direction of travel to Koh Lipe by route Koh Lanta-Koh Lipe.

By Speed Boat

• Take time about 3.00 hrs and service only high seaon. Speed boat leave from Koh Lanta (Saladard pier) at 10.00 am . For return back to Koh Lanta (Saladard pier) at 9.00 am.

By Speed Boat

• Take time about 2 hrs from Phuket , 1 hr from Koh Phi Phi . Speed boat service only from high season and depart from Phuket (Ratsada pier) at 8.30 am and will arrived at Koh Lanta at 10.00 am
